Yes, you can use the Dell TrueMobile 1450 Series Card.
In order for the Dell driver to install you will need to make the following modifications:
Firstly, you will have to extract the driver from the Dell website to your hard drive. You can use WinZip to do this. Once done, open the setup.ini file that you have just extracted, scroll to the bottom, delete the lines starting with device3 and with device1. Rename device2 to device1. Delete &subsys and everything after it on both remaining lines at the bottom. Save and exit, then run setup.exe.
Proof that it works can be found in the link below
I use a Truemobile 1300 mini pci in my 8200 and download the newest drivers from the Inspiron 8600. I download and run the drivers. Dell says it isn't compatible. Then I go to C:\dell\drivers and edit the setup.ini and rerun the upgrade. It just eliminates the one step of extracting the original.

I doubt I'll spend $50 for this (considering I already have a PCMCIA G card that works fine), but nice to know that I can if I wanted to.
Thanks!

That actually might be worth it.
I wanted to get a PCMCIA USB 2.0 card and I'm not sure it'll fit with my existing Linksys Wireless G card, so maybe for $28 it is worth it.
