Inspiron 8600 wireless questions

I have a Dell TrueMobile wireless card installed in my laptop, however I haven't had the need to use wireless for the past year. Now I'd like to. What would be my best bet: to get a TrueMobile 2300 router, or should I get a Linksys router? If I got the Linksys router, would I have to replace my TrueMobile wireless card with a Linksys one, or would it work with a Linksys router?
Thanks.

I've used an Inspiron with a Truemobile wireless card and a Linksys wireless router for the last year with no problems.  If you look at messages on this forum (and the General Boards - Wireless Networking forum) and read about the problems people have with Truemobile routers, you might want to reconsider purchasing that product.   Note, that if you purchase a Linksys router, there is no need to get the model with Speed Booster, as that will also require a Linksys wireless network card.

In terms of the router, it's up to you. I find that Linksys has a very user friendly setup interface. A generally good product.I would honestly get whichever one is cheaper overall.

You do not need to get another wireless card. The truemobile wireless network card will work with any router as long as it is the proper standard.
