Inspiron B120 internet LAN not working

Hi, i recently restored my computer (Inspiron B120) and im usto restoring computers but not this one. when i restored it i whiped everything out. I used all the CD's given to me when i bought it but for some reason i can seem to get it to connect to the internet. i know its not my router or the cords because im using the exact cords for my desktop. But every time it try to set up my network it says a LAN/DSL connection connects automatically. i have no clue whats going on here if anyone can help me please do!
