inspiron doesn't show intel pro/wireless 2200

my inspiron 8600 doesn't show the intel wireless adapter (minipci card) on network place, network connection and system hardware configuration.

how can I make the laptop to detect my wireless network adapter?

I contacted Dell Technical Support but nobody could give me a straight answer, the thing I don't understand is that the wireless adapter was working fine yesterday when I received the computer, but today when I turned up the laptop the wireless adapter is not where to be found.

Perhaps you need to reseat it by removing the 'C' cover on the bottom of your laptop, removing the card, and reinserting.

As soon I'll come back from a trip I will remove an reinsert the card to see if can be detected.

Thank you very much, I'l let you know if that work.

I reseated the Card but same thing the computer doesn't detect it, so I think the card is either death or damage, I'm going to call Dell tomorrow to send back the system so they can change and repaired.

Thank for you help.....

First make sure the mini-PCI port is enabled in the BIOS.

I checked the BIOS and it's enable, I solved the problem the card was damaged and DELL sent me a new one and I installed and that fixed the problem.
