Inspiron E1505 with Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N

Hello everyone,

I just received my new Inspiron E1505 with an Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N card.  Does anyone have any good recommendations for a Wireless N router?  Is the Netgear WNR834M any good?  Any other brands I should be looking at?

Thanks.

I too have just received a new Inspiron E-1505, except the Netgear Rangemax-Next wireless adapter was shipped separately.  There is no obvious slot for installation of the adapter.  Can someone please advise how/where (right side/left side/etc.) to physically install the wireless adapter on the E-1505?

I also purchased the Netgear Wireless-N Router WNR-834B but have not put in service as yet.

I think you are out of luck.  I ordered my E1505 with the internal Intel Next-Gen Wireless N card.  Since I have a Netgear Range Max at home and a Range Max Wireless adapter for my old Dell Inspiron 700M, I tried put the adapter card in E1505 left card slot (computer left) and it would not fit.  Hmmm . . . thought it was a pcmcia slot.  I'm going to settle for regular G until I buy the D-Link 655.

I, too, just received my Inspiron E1505 with a Next-Gen N internal card.  I bought a D-Link 655 router and the D-Link's CD instructions were pretty simple and, so far, so good, it has been working, connecting my Dell 8300 desktop to my laptop.
