Restart the computer and tap F8. Ebter in the safe mode, log in.

 

Open command prompt. Type

 

 

chkdsk /r          (space between the k and /)

 

Answer with the y

 

Restart your computer.

 

Allow the program to run. May take a while, depending on your hard drive size.

 

Does the computer start normally?

             Thanks for your help. Tried what you said but still the same message.  User profile cannot be loaded

Guilbert,

 

Can you create a new user profile? I'm thinking the old user profile may have become corrupt.

hi rick already tried creating new user but still nothing. warrenty ran out last month, so I think now i need to contact big brother dell and pay them tp help me

Hi Rick Cannot get on line to try this. Have been trying to speak to Dell but not getting though today for some reason. 0800 numbers are no good to me as I am on holiday just now,but not in UK

gulbert,

 

Download Malwarebytes to the computer you're using now. Save to to a flash drive, then take it to the computer and try installing it. It may not update, but it will remove any infections it finds.

Have you scanned for Malware? Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware update it and do a quick scan. Report back if it finds anything.

Repair my computer

 

To get in to the computer?

 

Not knowing which operating system you have makes this a little difficult.

 

Do you have all you information off the computer?

 

Did you running full diagnostice? How to Run the Dell™ Diagnostics Utility

I have tried this but it still does not let me start my laptop. I am running endows 7. Everything

I have tried fails so far. I will try and contact Dell today sometime
