Inspiron One 2305 drops wireless connection
HI,
I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem. I've had my desktop for about a month now and recently, it has started to lose the internet connection constantly. It tells me I have modem issues or there is not internet. However, I have 2 other laptops connected to this wirelss and have no problems with them at all. I have not contacted support yet, but plan on doing so. Thanks!

jld11007,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Have you tried reinstall the drivers for the card? Do you have this version of the wireless driver below installed for your card.

hey, i got this resolved, had to update the BIOS and the chipset drivers and it fixed it. Try it, hopefully it will work for you too.

This is still a problem today, I just recently updated one of these units to Windows 10 and it was dropping connection about every 10 minutes. Had to download the ancient driver located here:
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=NMGJH
I ran the exe, let it extract but did not use the Dell installer as immediately Windows 10 wanted to run it in compatibility mode, I simply went to Device Manager and told it to update the driver and browsed to where the driver exe had extracted the files to.
