intel my wifi technology

It happened when I tried to enable 'intel my wifi technologie' it didn't work. When I tried to enable again the screen turns blue with i.a. the message: to re-boot the computer. I have tried to do this using the ctr-alt-del combination to get in task-management but that didn't work. Then I tried to re-boot using the powerswitch, successfully. When started the computer again the automatic start mode didn't work any more. Luckily in the save mode I could fix this with the system recovery. When I restart the computer again I discovered that the hard disc was almost full. That was not before. The list of disc contents showed me that space available for data was reduced with circa 50 giga, I don't know why. Could that be the malfunction of the wifi-technologie? How can I used the witi-technologie without the problems I had?
