Intel pro set wireless. 'Problem applying profile' message
The pro set wireless will not connect to the network, constantly coming up with the message above. Have downloaded and reinstalled driver twice. Currently using windows to manage the connection. Any advice?

Okay. I think I've discovered a work-around. It seems to be an issue involving the booting and loading of apps during startup.
Solution: Disable your radio (function F2 or right click on the wireless icon in the taskbar and select disable radio).Restart the computer. After everything loads during the reboot then Enable the radio.
This seems to do it for me. Just do this proceedure whenever you shut down the computer and it shouldn't cause further problems applying the profile.

I had the same problem. Look at this for the details on how I fixed it:
