Intel Proset and i8600

Greetings all,

When I first got my i8600 two weeks ago I recall seeing the Intel Proset software having a scan feature and a profile configuration utility. I now notice that all of these features are gone. How can I get it working again? I have been configuring various wireless routers to work with my system and I'm wondering if that had anything to do with disabling something with the Intel software. I've also downloaded the lastest Intel driver (from Dell) and it made no difference.
