Intel PROSet Wireless Window Freeze

Question

I had Intel PROSet Wireless version 10.1.1.3 and when I double click the system tray icon to open window it searches for the networks, but then I click to close the window it freezes. I updated the driver to 10.5.0.3 but I still have the same problem. Any ideas how to fix this issue? Thanks

For me everything works fine its just that it freezes on closing the app. I even uninstalled the whole program and then installed it back and it still freezes.

no kidding! i've been having the smae kind of problems and much more :s i really regreat but a del inspiron, i think there are some other computers from other brands that maybe are not too popular, but al least everthing works good. My wireless detects the signal, and when i try to get to internet, it gets wither so slow, or suddenly a blue windows promp put saying error with windows and something else that i haven't been able to read because it restart by itself.

I figured out whats causing mine to freeze. Its Synaptics Pointing Device Driver for the mouse on startup. If I disable it at startup, the Intel Pro/set doesn't freeze. But I need the mouse driver so that I can use the built in scroller in the mouse.

I don't know they included a driver CD for the mouse so I can reinstall it. I'll check later.
