If your router software has a "time out" setting, maybe that can be changed to zero. I have a Netgear router and its software has such a setting that had a 10 min default - it would disconnect automatically after 10 mins of inactive internet use.
I changed it to zero and haven't had a disconnect since.

I had the same problem as many of you on this forum.  Your 2200 BG Wireless Card that came with your dell company doesnt work?  I hope this gets out to all who need it.  Your need to update the firmware of the 2200 BG Wireless Card.

I saw some angry posts before and cant find em all, so I hope the word gets out...   Your wireless firmware is controlled by INTEL, so download the driver from this page.

INTEL will give you the proset driver download.  Install, Run, Reset your computer and be wireless.

Dell, can you like give me a free computer or something for writing such a answer
