What do you mean when you say you had to "restore" your laptop?  Did you reinstall Windows?  If so, did you install the chipset drivers first, and then install the drivers for the Intel wireless network adapter?

I had to restore my laptop to factory. I did it with the help of Dell Tech. He had me install Dell notebook system drivers first then the chipset drivers.  I wrote the drivers list down that was installed and there were two network drivers Broadcom and Intel Pro. Any sugestions?

It won't hurt anything to install it again.

Volcano, If I have already installed that driver ( and I am not really sure I did) will it cause problems with my laptop ?
