Intel Wireless 2200BG not connecting
I have a Dell inspiron 600m laptop with Intel wireless 2200BG. In the past, I have a wireless router with WEP, and everything works fine. Today, I installed a wireless adapter for my desktop, and it doesn't work well with WEP. So I switch to WPA-PSK, and the desktop works great. Problem is, now the 600m cannot even connect to the wireless router (I already updated everything to use WPA-PSK, I quadruple checked the key). I tried installing new drivers both from Dell and Intel, and although the laptop can scan and identify the router, everytime I click connect, the software will just say unable to connect. Connecting to a non-secure router is fine. Anybody got any ideas? Is Intel 2200BG just not designed to be used with WPA?

The 2200BG supports WPA and WPA2. If you are using Windows Zero Config (rather than the Intel PRO/Wireless application) to manage your 2200BG, and you want to use WPA2, you will need to download and install this Hotfix for Windows: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=893357 (Note that you must be running WinXP SP2.)
Here's a link to a useful article on setting up WPA2 security: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/security/expert/bowman_wirelesssecurity.mspx
