Interesting Problem has me baffled...

To whoever can help,Currently my internet provider is with Telus, with high speed ADSL.There are two computers that are connected through wires to one modem. After reformatting my Dell Dimension C521 desktop, I reinstalled all drivers including network drivers but still the internet would not connect.   Interestingly, the internet would only work if only one computer was plugged into the internet at a time.If only the C521 was plugged in to the internet, it would work, if both computers were plugged in, the C521 would get disconnected very quickly.Sometimes both computers can be plugged in at the same time, but only the C521 gets disconnected.This has never been a problem before and I was wondering if anyone could please give me any help or advice on this matter.Sincerely, Ren

More information is needed. Is this dsl modem and modem/router combination box? If not, and it is just a modem, do you have two static IP addresses assigned from your service provider? If is a modem/router combo, are both computers set to obtain an IP address automatically?
