Intermittent Wireless Problems
Inspiron 600 w/Intel Pro/Wireless 2200 Network Adapter
Just recently I've begun having intermittent connectivity problems. I will be connected just fine, then my connection will drop and I won't be able to re-connect. When this happens, I can still see my network as an available network and it's showing a full signal strength. I tried ipconfig and it indicates that the adapter is not connected. But, when I look at the adapter in device manager, it shows it enabled and green. I also viewed my hardware using The Ultimate Troubleshooter software...it shows the adapter "Enabled" but "Not Operational".
I can restart the computer and everything will work again just fine.
The computer is still under warranty, but the Dell technician said that since my network is visible and the adapter shows enabled, that it's not a hardware problem and not covered under warranty. He offered to transfer me to the Dell On-Call fee based service, but I just thought maybe someone here could help me out just as well.
Please help...this is just so frustrating.
Thanks,
Lynn

Have you dowloaded and installed the most current driver from the manufacturers website, for your wireless card?
