internal modem in inspiron 700m

If you are facing the screen from the front, look on the side of the laptop adjacent to, and below the "Backspace" key. There you will find two receptacles for input-output. The smaller of the two is for your phone line. Just plug it in there making sure the release latch on the cord is oriented upwards. You are good to go.
