Are you sure it is slower . . slower than when?

How are you connecting to the internet ?  How fast is your connection supposed to be

Is any program (files sharing, windows update etc downloading in the background) 

Check speed in safe mode when these things generally will not launch themselves

What speed do you see in the download box if you try to download a large file (Try a video driver)
