Rpiard,

When you say that you had to "reboot" your computer, I assume that you mean you had to reinstall Windows onto your computer.  If this is the case, then you will also need to install "drivers" for your computer.  The drivers that you will need to install are different for different models.  What model is your computer?

Thank you for your e-mail
Yes I reinstalled Windows
The computer is a Dimension 2400
I understand that I have to install a driver. I just don't know how to find it - I have 3 dell computers and all the disks are mixed together...

Rpiard,

Yes, you should save the downloaded files to a disk -- preferably a CD.  This way, you will have the driver files available in the event that you ever need them again.

OK, but I'm on a different computer as I can not go to the internet to download. Can I save the download on a disk?

Rpiard,

You will need to install drivers in this order:

1.  Intel chipset driver which can be downloaded here
2.  Onboard video driver which can be downloaded here
Other drivers can be installed in just about any order after these two are installed.

Audio drivers which can be downloaded here
Integrated network driver which can be downloaded here
Modem driver which can be downloaded from here or here or here (depending on which modem you have)
