internet connection?

Somehow theres a new network connection that showed up on my computer.  I don't know how it go there.  It is called internet connection and its under 'internet gateway' on the network connections menu.  There is also nothing in it when I click on properties or settings.  Can someone tell me how to delete it?

kjc2,

That's your UPnP router.  The entry in Network Connections is automatically created when you connect to the router.  The only way to "delete" the entry in Network Connections is to disable UPnP in your router.  Depending on the web applications you are running you may or may not want to do that.  Here is more information about UPnP.

To do that would I have to go to the router settings?  Its not even my router, its wireless and I was trying to connect to it wirelessly.

kjc2,

"To do that would I have to go to the router settings?" -- That's correct.  However, the discussion here should be of interest.
