internet connection
Hi I have an optiplex 330 which has an old XP and with a dial up connection. What drives do i need to install to allow me to connect to my broadbard connection please. or how can i get it to connect to my router as it wont pick up a erthnet cable?

Hello Clare,
If you have an Ethernet cable connect it from the router to the computer and check if it is working as the drivers for the network card should be installed. In case if there is no internet connection, I would suggest to uninstall the network drivers from the Device Manager and then re-install.
To Uninstall the drivers Click Start -- Control Panel -- Open Device Manager -- Network Adapters -- Uninstall the Network Drivers -- Restart the computer.

After installing the drivers, restart the computer and connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port and check the functionality.
