Internet Explorer 7 Certificate Security problems

Question

Every website that I enter that requires a login and password comes up with an error that says ' There is a problem with this website's security certificate,' and then it will not let me enter the site.   These are sites that I am on frequently to manage accounts and pay bills.  I played around with my security features in internet options, but I can't figure out how to get this fixed.  Please Help!

In addition to the above, you also want to ensure that your system's time and date is correct.
