Internet Explorer "Control" Message.

Does anyone know how to turn off the message with the box that appears around active items in web pages with IE6? I just noticed it when I installed some updates from microsoft, but there has to be a way to turn it off. Anyone else have this message? It's just gets annoying after a while.

Thanks!

Consider using another fine browser, among which:
* Internet Explorer version 7 Preview Beta 2
* Bon Echo the alpha version of FireFox 2
* Firefox current release version fully supported

Is your answer the same for the irritating "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items.

Do you want to display the nonsecure items? "  which clearly serves no useful purpose.  Or is there a way of turning this off ?

Does that dialog contain a check-box "Don't show me this message again" ?

Since I use three browsers simultaneously, it is easy for me to say

* ditch Internet Explorer 6

Try
* IE version 7 Beta 2 Preview
* Maxthon
* Bon Echo (the version 2 of FireFox) alpha 2

Thank you for your thoughts - I don't think I want to try Microsoft's seventh attempt to get it right (IE 7) just a bit fed up with working with badly written applications - isn't there a phrase about 1st failure is unlucky 2nd is ....etc

:smileyhappy:
