Internet Explorer history question

Once the History is deleted, it's gone.  You might be able to get a hint at some sites visited by looking at the temporary internet files.

Try the Recycler (not the Recycle Bin).  It's a hidden folder.  If you have concerns, make sure your child does not have Admin Rights on the machine.
