It's probably caused by spyware or other internet parasites. But, to be sure, when you get the error message, click on the link in the error message to show the details of the error report. Read the error report and write down and report here the AppName and ModName involved in the error.
yshortcut.dll is part of Yahoo Messenger. Unisntall Yahoo Mesenger and see if the problem goes away. If it does, try reinstalling it and see if the problem is solved.
Guess what? It is still doing the same thing. I still am getting the IE sign that says it has experienced a problem and needs to close. I forgot to hit details to see what the name and app said but I will next time it does it. Any other suggestions as to what it can be?
