hi,

i dont know if im posting this in the right place, but hey! here is my problem, i installed wanadoo broadband and i have just uninstalled it because i only used it round someone elses house and i dont need it anymore. when i open internet explorer in the title bar it says "provided by wanadoo" even though i have uninstalled it! Can anyone please tell me how i could get rid of this? i have tried getting rid of internet explorer to re-install it but it wont let me.

You don't have to reinstall IE to remove this stuff.

Two suggestions:

MSMVP sramesh has a command line you can run for this HERE.
MSMVP Doug Knox has a small vbs script yoiu can run for this HERE.

I would read over any instructions for these carefully and backup your registry before trying either one (the Knox script is probably the easier of the two).
These are not the only solutions for this. A Google search for "remove internet explorer branding" for example will yield hundreds of pages on this subject.

Hope this helps.

P.S.
This probably would better have been posted in the software forum for you OS as it doesn't really have anything to do with your modem.
