internet ip ping failed

Question

hi, I have a dell inspiron mini 1010 with 1397 wifi card. I am trying to connect to internet through wifi but comp. wont connct. when i run diagnostic it says internet ip ping faild. my router( witch is an arris xfinity) is working fine with two other computers. strangly it connects withmy netgear router just fine. any ideas how to fix this would be great.

adamaudio77,   Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID, if using XP, run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.   Rick
