Internet won't close...
For awhile, I've been having this problem of my connection to the internet NOT BEING ABLE TO CLOSE. The only way to change this situation is to RESTART w my pc. Does anyone have any idea to fix this?
Thank you...

Could you be more specific. How are you connecting to the Internet? Is it dialup, cable or dsl modem, router, LAN? If it is a dialup connection, then when you say are not able to close, do you mean you can't get the modem to hang up? If it any kind of connection, do you mean that you can't get Internet Explorer to close?

Sorry about that - Dialup. I believe I have a modem. When I'm trying to close the internet, I usually click on the Internet symbol & this Dialup thingie comes onto the screen - that's when I can close. BUT when I've having a problem, which is more often, I can't get that Dialup thingie to come up...I see it wants to but will not. So I right-click & try to close but it doesn't work. The Internet symbol is still on & my phone is still busy. The only way to get it working again is to RESTART.
Perhaps, it's crashed???
Do you need anymore info? Thank you....

As this is not really a network problem, you might want to post your question in the software forum for the version of Windows you are running. It has been so many years since I used dialup, that I really can't be of much help. Good luck finding a solution to your problem in proper software forum..
