Did you re-install the chipset drivers too? They would be available in the downloads section for your machine.  The NIC card communicates with the system board thru those drivers.  Without them, the NIC can not work properly.

I downloaded a chipset driver that the dell tech. instructed me to download. Is there more than one??? If I have the right drivers....can you think of anything else that could be going wrong? Thanks so much!
