Ipod not linking with peernet

G'day, if anyone could please help me with this I am looking to try and sync my iPod with my peernet on my Dell computer. Previously I have been able to sync with my computer and gain internet access on the ipod. However, over the last few days, I have not been able to connect the ipod to the peernet. It looks as if the computer picks up the ipod but the ipod can't seem to connect to the computer although the computer does show in available wifi connections. More or less, the loading wheel just keeps going until the ipod goes into sleep mode. I have had a crack at just about everything and nothing seems to work. I tries syncing another ipod and two iPhones to the computer and they won't work either. Is it the computer it the ipod that is the problem and how can I fix this? Thanks in advance Adrian
