Since it looks like only your wireless card is having problems, a system restore is probably overkill (and may not help either).

I'd re-install the device drivers. Remove the device in the device manager, reboot, then re-install a fresh copy of the device drivers. By removing the device first, you also remove any possibly corrupted registry entries.

Make sure you have the most current drivers for the device.

Thanks for the reply.
When I contacted DELL Support team, they told me there is no problem with the laptop Wireless adaptor because it is able to detect the available wireless networks in its range. But the issue is not resolved yet.
May be you are right. The device driver is corrupted and I need to re-install it.

Could you tell where can I get the device driver for my WIRELESS Adaptor?. is it a free downloadable in DELL site?.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Suresh

If you have the Intel wireless adapter, get the updated driver at the Intel site. I found it better than the Dell driver at the Dell Support site.
