java 2 runtime and adobe flash player problems!!!!!

Question

I have downloaded the latest flash player  because i was prompted to and also the java 2 runtime to able me to do an online fantasy draft. For some reason neither will work when supposed to. I have removed and re-downloaded several times and restarted my computer, nothing has worked. I have tried to change my security settings and my active X controls, neither worked. When i go on to myspace, boxes where people's pictured should be just appear with a red X in the corner. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

the first thing I would suggest is to empty your temporary internet cache files. if using IE then go tools>internet options>temporary internet files>delete

Ok, i did that. The flash player is working but not the Java 2 runtime.

is the java enabled for IE under start>set program access and defaults?

What do u mean under start? that option isn't under the start button.
