lat D-600 compatible with 811.g?
will D-600 work with 811.g wireless router. I am thinking about changing to the newer technology and want to make sure that my laptop is compatible

Regardless of which wireless adapter you currently have in your D600, it will be compatible with an 802.11g router, since all the routers I'm aware of that support 802.11g also support 802.11b speeds. If the router you choose has "turbo" settings that offer speeds greater than 54 Mbps, that may cause problems if the "turbo" mode of the router is enabled.
If you have more questions, you should post them in the Latitude/Network board - this one's for Dimension systems.

The Latitude D600 has an onboard 802.11b/g wireless network card. It will communicate at the higher 802.11g speeds when using a "G" router.
