On the Latitude, do you have the firewall turned on?  If so, you might want to turn it off.  Also, make sure you have file and print sharing enabled on the Latitude laptop.

On the Latitude Laptop, go into Folder Options, Click on View, and make sure 'Use Simple File Sharing' is checked.

Also check to make sure the workgroup name is cAsE SenSiTive.

As a final step, reboot all 3 workstations.

Good Luck,

Aaron

Thanks for the response, I think I might have some sort of OS problems since some weird things happened, anyhow tried what you told me:

1. File Options, all had simple file sharing on
2. Turned off Windows firewall
3. Shut down all equipment
4. Checked Work Group names

But none of it worked. Here is what I did, I created new work groups but to no avail, here is a summary of what happened

1. When I created the new work group my dell Latitude D620 and dell desktop Dimension 4500 communicated as they should, all file and print sharing was working
2. Then I added my Inspiron 8600 laptop to the work group and thats when all fell apart all 3 refused to comunicate
3.Kept repeating this but things just got worse and nobody communicate it with each other

Any ideas? Any one? I am using Windows XP pro and use network set up wizard to create it
