Latest Broadcom 802.11ac wireless adapter driver won't work
Hi, I need help with a driver update that doesn't work.
I have a 2015 XPS13 Windows 10.
Intermittently in the UK i had wireless adapter problems. Then, when I came to Liberia, where I work, wireless stopped completely. It appears to be the driver. The latest driver that automatically updates is a Dec 2015 build, as per the screen shot below.
The screen grabs didn't post. The 2015 version is dated 1/12/2015 and the version number is 7.35.333.0
If I roll back the driver to the 2013 update (see below), everything works fine.
The 2013 version is dated 02/06/2013 and the version number is 6.30.233.256.
The problem I have is that the driver then automatically updates, sometimes several times a day, to the 2015 version and everything cuts out again.
Is there anything I can do to stop just this one driver from updating, or to find a driver version that gets around the problems I am having with the Dec 2015 version update?
Thanks in anticipation of your help,
Andrew
