Latest Driver for WLAN 1350 doesn't work
Hi,
I installed the latest WLAN 1350 driver for my Inspirion 1000 (115321.exe), and it installs fine and it also shows up in my taskbar but it doesn't connect to wireless network but it detects all the wireless connections available. So i add SSID and i also click connect, but it don't connect. And also all of the boxes are check so this utility is used to handle my wireless connection. Any idea why i can't connect to wireless network? My older driver works fine!!!

There are numerous postings that outline problems and solutions with this modem (dozens if not hundreds) on the DellTalk forum. I have read many even though I do not have that myself.

RIGHT-click "My Computer" and choose Properties
Click "Hardware" TAB and then "Device Manager" button
Look on the list and find "Network Adapters" and expand.
Select the correct one, RIGHT-click and choose "Properties"
Click "Configure" Button and look for the checkbox.
You should always provide full power to the wireless network adapter. Clearing this checkbox instructs the system to do that.
Do you have carry-around phone which may also be interferring?
