Latitude D500 network not working....

Well, recently last night. When i picked up the laptop from my room, and went to look online. But i notice the "monitor" disconnect looking icon next tot he clock. I'm wondering, aww man not again. It couldn't pick up signal from the router.

It works fine before, and all i had to do was click my "SMC" icon thing in the local network menu. and it'll detect the router and i can go back online....but this time, nothing appears. I plug in the LAN line from the router to the back of the laptop, it's suppose to light up GREEN. But instead it lights up Orange, now i haven't had my Latitude D500 long, It was a Christmas present. So anyways back onto this topic.

So i'm wondering what's wrong?...I reinstalled the driver and even WINDOWS IT SELF! And STILL I GET THE PROBLEM! I was told that something could be fried but i am totally not sure. So if anyone out their that had the same problem or knows what's wrong with it, please help me!

If not, i can always contact dell for warranty issues right?
