Question

I tried to connect my linksys adsl modem with my computer, but it just wouldn't get started. When i looked in network connections i only found 1394 connection. There's wasn't intel pro/100ve. Can anyone tell me how to get this thing running.

Linksys ADSL modem?  You must be in Europe.  Did you run the setup utility?

Yes, i'm from Europe. Anyway, it's working now. The problem was that i had no drivers installed for the intel pro/100ve. Thanks.

Are you in England?  I would love to have one of those modems down here in Italy but the stores in the UK will not ship down here even though it's coming to a military address.

No. I'm from Serbia and Montenegro. I paid about 100 euros for the modem. How much does it cost in the UK? I tried to connect my laptop with my desktop, but i don't know how to do that. Do you know how i could connect them to share a network.

I think I saw a price of about 60 British pounds, so you got a good deal. Combo router & modem, or just modem?
