Latitude D610 - Error while installing the R85457 Modem drivers.

While installing the appropriate communication drivers for my D610, I ran into an error; "Driver install failed: Could not find the XXXX device for this driver". The install promptly closes after you hit "Ok".  I verified that the drivers on the CD and Dell.com are the same.

Windows XP is loaded on the D610, and in the device manager the device is labeled as not installed.

When trying to load the drivers manually from the device manager, it keeps searching for the drivers when I specified the location "C:\dell\R85457". I then have to click cancel because it has searched for over 20 mins.

Any help would be most appreciated.
