Latitude D820 3G mini card

Question

Dear All

I have purchased Ltitude D820. Now I am trying to connect to my mobile cell Inet provider using SIM card but it doesnt work. I even dont have sotware provided with Laptop to do this. Here is written that D820 has:
Dell Wireless 5500 Mobile Broadband 3G HSDPA (Cingular US)
Dell Wireless 5700 Mobile Broadband CDMA EVDO (Verizon Wireless US)

Of course I have downloaded drivers and programs for both cards and did try without any success - from here: http://support.euro.dell.com/support/downloads/type.aspx?c=uk&l=en&s=gen&SystemID=LATITUDE%20D820&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=10113&libid=20

My question is very simple - do I have in my new D820, Dell Wireless 5500 Cingular Mobile Broadband 3G HSDPA MiniCard as it is written on your site or not ?

flitemasta,   The 5500 and 5700 mobile broadband cards were optional equipment on the D820.  If you purchased this as a refurbished system, it most likely does not have either of these options installed.   Steve

flitemasta,   You are welcome.  It is important to understand that these forums are 'peer-to-peer'.  Dell operates and moderates them, but does not often participate in them.  At least, not as often as many other folks here.  One important note -- it is generally unwise to post your personal contact information in a public forum.  You might consider editing your previous post and removing your phone numbers and e-mail address, etc...   Steve
