Please be more specific about what you are trying to do.  Also include essential information about the set up of the network and version(s) of Windows involved.

Steve:

I have the Linksys router set up at home for my desktop. I have another computer linked wireless remote to that router. I have a Latitude LS Windows 2000. Now if I use the ethernet cable and plug into the back of the router I can connect to the Web. But, I also have a wireless lan card into the notebook and it will not pick up a connection to to the other two computers. My other two laptops use the same wireless lan and they connect fine. I don't know why or how to set up a network connection or remote connection on this laptop. I also have a Linksys wireless g pci adapter, can that be installed into the laptop? It does not make any sense with this notebook, you should be able to slip in that lan card like my others and connect.

Anything would be apppreciated.

I know device manager very well, (lol)

I have tried slipping in the wireless lan network adapter- card bus 54mbps IEEE802.11 A/G  before turning on and while on. Device manager shows the adapter under pcmia adapters and the 3com ethernet under network adapter and both are working. Go figure. Also please check if I can install the wireless G in the laptop. I have a feeling this is the best way to go.

I bought this on ebay with no hardware and it stated it was working great but I come to find out it does not trying to do wireless...

Thanks so much

Yes the driver is there and it is a Texas instrument I believe. States best driver for this card and working properly, so I am presuming that it is.
