Limited or no connectivity when using docking station

Question

I have a Latitude C840 that's been working fine for years. Just got a docking station and everything works except the network card. I get the message 'Limited or no connectivity'. The Latitude's built-in card works fine and a wireless card I have also works fine. System is fully patched XP PRO SP2. Device manager shows no issues.

Similar here.  I upgraded our network to Gig speed using Dell Switches and now the port replicator is limiting the speed to 100Mbps.  VERY BAD!!   Updated to the latest driver with no success.
