Linksys wireless router question
Hello,
I am not sure if this is the right place for this. I am on cable. I have two dell
computers hooked up to share the Internet. In my downstairs computer, I
have a Linksys Broadbamd router. On my computer upstairs, I have a
Wireless PCI card in it. It has an antenna coming out the back to pick up
the signal. Everything works good. I had to install the PCI card in the older
computer and really I don't remember how I did it although it must not have
been too hard since I did it myself. My son will soon be coming to live with
me. I was thinking about getting a third computer for him since my wife has
now become a computer nut.
So my questions are easy, I hope. Can I use three computers on the same
router? If I order my new computer from Dell (I was thinking of going the least
expensive) can I have them put a PCI card on the system ahead of time?
I am sorry to say that I am not that smart about this type of thing. I see on the
website about wireless but I am sure that is talking about something else.
I didn't see any mention of a PCI card although I might have missed it.
Thanks,
Bill

1)Yes, you can hard wire up to 4 devices to your router and 20 devices wirelessly.
2) Yes, you can have Dell install your PCI card only, order your system by phone to better dictate your needs and parameters for your system.
