In order to use the Dell 1390 wireless card with Linux, try to download the driver from the link mentioned below. Unfortunately, there is no native support for the Dell 1390 wireless card in Linux.
Thank you for the input. I am new to Mint but really like it so far. I need to get used to using the software center to load my new apps, is that what I use to load this driver. I typed the driver address in the search bar on the S/W manager but did not get anything. I also downloaded it separately but for the life of me can figure out how to install it.
