Linux network drivers for the Dell Optiplex SX280

Hi,

When is Dell going to release network drivers for Linux for the Dell Optiplex SX280? Or do you want us to compile our own using these sources:

"BCM57xx Drivers":
http://www.broadcom.com/drivers/downloaddrivers.php

Hi,

Dell Support told me that these NIC driver sources can be used to compile your own driver for Linux:

http://www.broadcom.com/drivers/downloaddrivers.php

But I haven't tried that yet ...

Well, the same goes for me...

I really need the network drivers to work under linux for my three Optiplex GX280 boxes. I specifically told the sales person I wanted to run linux on the boxes, and he offered me these as the best solution. Bah...

Well, I hope I find something on the internet to help me going...

Hello There,
I have a DELL Optiplex GX280 running Linux Enterprise Edition 3.0 with a gigabit NIC integrated card. I am unable to compile the source that is listed on this mail message. Is there an RPM somewhere that I can install to get the gigabit card working. I have also tried using other NIC cards but I am still unable to connect.

Thanks for your help.
Me.
