Logging onto the Internet

Question

I'm not sure if I'm using the right board, but, will try this one When you go out of state to grandma's house, brother's house, friends house ~ How to you log onto the Internet?  When I go on vacation, I'd like to be able to do more then play games on my nice new Imspiron 5150!  I would like to be able to log onto the Internet, but, don't know how.

One small? problem ~ my ISP is a local provider.  Would installing a free 6-month ISP be the solution?

Well, if you have a local provider it will not work.

I recommand Bellsouth it's cheap and you can dial up anywhere in the US just call can give a zip code they almost always have a number.

Some hotels offer free dial up or dial up for a fee or free DSL service or a small fee.

I go everywhere on my Inspiron and I dial up, I live to far in the woods to get DSL service. A free 6 month ISP is only free for 6 months what r u going to do after 6 months?

Besides befoul your notebook with their propriatary software that usually causes problems going in and after deleting....
