I did not add the card myself. I had Dell put the card in when I purchased the machine in Dec 2007 and it is a Broadcom g card.

Did you try this DRIVER<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>

Unless you added the card your self this is the only wireless card that Dell put into the systems

I believe you will find it is the Asus card using a broadcom chipset.
