Losing e-mail messages.

I've been losing several e-mails every time I open my Outlook mailbox. I get an error message Dialogue Box giving me this info. Plus I can see how many messages are being downloaded, but they all don't show up in either by Inbox, Junkmail Box, or Spam Killer.

Contacting my ISP was the first thing I did, and they told me that my firewall is blocking these messages and in order to begin to get all my messages, I need to adjust my security settings or eliminate them altogether. Of course, I won't eliminate them, and hesitate to alter them at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

Are you using McAfee security center with spam killer. If so, click on the spam killer on the left hand side when in Mc security center or from the toolbar at the bottom right. Double click on view e-mail blocked by spamkiller. You have two tabs, blocked e-mail and accepted e-mail. If there's nothing listed under the blocked tab, then click the accepted. If you see the messages that you lose. Hightlight the message and click the block this message on all of the message that you think you losed. Click on the blocked e-mail tab and hightlight by clicking one time on the message. Under I want to.... click rescue and make sure all boxes are checked and click yes. Now look in outlook and the message should be there. If this does not help you it will help other who are using McAfee spamkiller.

Thanks very much. I found everything fine. When I tried to rescue messages, I kept getting a Dialogue Box saying that the operation did not complete successfully. I was able to successfully delete messages that I didn't want to keep, however.

Not sure why it's being temperamental about rescuing messages.  Any thoughts or suggestions? I'll try again tomorrow. If I still have the same problem, I'll report the error or send a complaint to McAfee.
