Losing WIFI Connection

Question

I have a Dell 1395 WLAN mini-card and I get the black and white WIFI logo popping up in the lower right corner of the screen, first with the red circle/slash and then just the logo. The wireless connection is lost but I can reconnect again. I have a VOSTRO 1310 and have never had this problem until about 2 days ago. I have restarted the computer, updated drivers, set power management to not shut down to save power, etc. Thanks

I have determined this was a UBD (User Brain Dead). My WIFI switch was 'in the middle' not on or off.
