Lost network connection
I have 4 computers on small network, all are XP.
My main computer lost power and now I cannot connect to and from the other computers on the network,
from this machine only.
All the others can see each other no problem.
Is there any way to get this computer up and working without a XP reinstall?
The main computer is XP Pro.

Please provide a few more details. On the computer with the problem are you able to see the other computers on the network if you try to add a Network Place in My Network Places? Can you successfully find these computers if you do a search for computers on the network? Do you get any error messages? If so, what is the full and exact text of the error message(s)?

You can see the other computers but if you click on them you get this message:
\\main\computer2 -data files not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource.
Contact administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
The network path was not found.
I receive that message, when I try to connect to another computer in my network places, and when I click on Add a network place.

Also when I try "View workgroup computers" I get this message:
Mshome is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource.
Contact administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available.
